This draws a horizontal line from each datapoint to the right side until the next datapoint comes. Then it goes vertical to this next datapoint. This results in a graph that looks like stair steps. If follows the logic that you don't know how the graph will proceed until the next value comes and therefore the last surely known datapoint is holded true until more information arrives. It is also easier to identify where the individual datapoints lie compared to "straightFromPointToPoint". |
